Thought from Tim Samuel on growing a YouTube audience:

You don’t really know what video is going to hit and what won’t. If lottery tickets were free, how many of them would you get? Each piece of content you release is another free lotto ticket. The more content you put out the more your luck increases of blowing up as an influencer. That’s why consistency is key.

Quote shared from Jessica Stewart:

“When we give up being new and awkward, we stop growing. And when we stop growing, we stop living.” -BrenĂ© Brown

Also, speaking about being new, I watched an interview with Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, and he dropped a lot of gems. One of them was, “If you’re going to do anything innovative and new you must be willing to be misunderstood.”

Most people think that Spicy is an actual taste. In reality, it’s just pain. Food that makes you feel pain is spicy. The reason you experience heat and sweating when you eat super spicy food is because your body is reacting to a chemical in the food, an acidic type that spikes your body into action and heats up that zone as a defense mechanism. This makes me wonder if pain tolerance can be measured by asking someone what their taste in food is.

As artists we are free to say: “No thank you. That doesn’t align with who I am.”
