"Anyone who has ever struggled with poverty knows how extremely expensive it is to be poor"—James Baldwin
This is a quote I saw under a video about the importance of implementing Universal Basic Income in a society. It has to do with overall empathy for people less fortunate.
My favorite quality of humans is our imagination. Without it, we wouldn’t be anywhere as advanced as we are now. Imagination is the thing that fuels the curiosity that ignites exploration.
Pondering questions about “Hope”:
Is hope the belief that this moment isn’t good enough? Or is Hope the belief that you can’t change something yourself? Or is it an optimists way of giving up? Or is hope the belief that even when the chances of success are low, it's still worth pursuing? Optimism is when you're very sure about a desirable outcome. Vision is the opposite. It says, “I’m going to get there by diligently focusing on the path that I’m on.”
There is no such thing as perfection when it comes to relationships. If you are feeling down in a relationship, remember to stop and smell the flowers because they don't bloom every day.
