It’s easier to make 10% on real estate than 100% on stocks. $25k down on a $250k house that goes up 10%, you made 100% profit.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but they were laying bricks every hour. You don’t have to do it all today. Just lay a brick. A business brick. A relationship brick. A health brick. That’s how you build an empire.

After watching Fantastic Fungi, I learned that psychedelics played a roll in the development of the modern self-aware human brain.

The color orange was named AFTER the fruit was named orange. Let that sink in.

If you’re black, you’re walking proof of a false perception of truth. At one point in history being black in America meant you were a bad person. That notion is something everyone believed because they were told and trained to believe it. Now, we know it was a false perception of reality. We shouldn’t latch on to everything we are taught and told. What are some false perceptions of truth we are experiencing right now?

Our mind makes sense of this world using a limited amount of words. You interpret how you feel, the world, and who you are by thinking with words. I believe that the higher consciousness within you is part of you that speaks to you without using words.

Pulitzer Prize winners Will and Ariel Durant mentioned something powerful about ideas. "The conservative who resists change is as valuable as the radical who proposes it—perhaps as much more valuable as roots are more vital than grafts. It is good that new ideas should be heard, for the sake of the few that can be used; but it is also good that new ideas should be compelled to go through the mill of objection, opposition, and contumely; this is the trial heat which innovations must survive before being allowed to enter the human race. It is good that the old should resist the young, and that the young should prod the old; out of this tension, as out of the strife of the sexes and the classes, comes a creative tensile strength, a stimulated development, a secret and basic unity and movement of the whole."

All money isn't good money.

As artists we are free to say: “No thank you. That doesn’t align with who I am.”
