Everything the cavemen needed to build the technology we have today was right in front of their faces the whole time.

The age of your mind is limitless. The age of your body is finite.

Life is underwhelming if you’re not actively going directly after what you want. The moment you stop pursuing what you want, you’re settling for what you have. It's just like the advice from the great MLK, “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

Why are so many scientists atheists? Maybe denying the existence of a God unlocks the door of their minds to so many other questions because the fear of questioning isn’t there anymore. There’s no longer one definitive answer. There’s an infinite amount of possibilities.

Why do people commit suicide? Well, I read one of the most accurate answers. The post started off by showing a close up picture of a man in the midst of falling to his death by jumping off of a skyscraper. It was later revealed that the picture was taken on Sept. 11th, 2001 when the person jumped to their death because they were fleeing from a fire that was cropped out of the picture. The writer followed it up by saying:

“He jumped because there was a terror far greater than the fall. The fire. What if you and I could not see the fire? Does that mean it isn’t there?...Why do people commit suicide? Because they are jumping from a terror worse than death. There is always hope and a better life on the horizon for each of us. But when I cannot understand why someone “jumps”, I remind myself that just because I cannot see the fire, it doesn’t mean it’s not burning.”

I have a theory about how people develop conspiracy theories. I realized it when I started asking for people's take on COVID-19. My most religious friend saw it as a New World Order, my most Afrocentric mentor connected it with restructuring racism, and even when I went from seeing it as a push for technological automation to jokingly considering it having to do with human contact with aliens. I believe that humans latch on to the conspiracies that we simply relate to the most. Our suspicions are triggered by confirmation biases. I’m not saying anyone is right or wrong. I’m just noticing that it’s another example of how our perceptions are our reality and not the other way around.

Can creativity be earned?

Creativity doesn’t come from waiting for inspiration. It comes from movement. Repetition. Iteration.
