True freedom is freedom of the mind.

Our lives are a mere representation of what happens in our minds.

The things that hold us back from unapologetically experiencing life and love are the mental cages we build from our fears, limitations, insecurities, and traumas.

Live boldly. Love yourself. Forgive quickly. Conquer your demons. Because “If you cry because the sun has gone out of your life, your tears will prevent you from seeing the stars.”

We are all slaves crying over our Suns—impostor syndrome, pessimism, anxiety over issues beyond our control, self-deprecating habits, overbearing people, traumatic life experiences, fear of the unknown.

What stars are you missing out on because your vision is clouded by your past? What opportunities have passed you by? What intense love did you reject?

If you refuse to take control of your mind, then you are bound to be a slave to your thoughts.

“Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.”—Bob Marley
